Pygmy Goats
Pygmy goats originated in the Cameroon Valley of West Africa. They were imported to the US from Europe in the 1950s and have quickly gained popularity as pets and exhibition animals due to their good-natured personalities, friendliness and hardy constitution.
They are gregarious and exceptionally good browsers. Their miniature size make them ideal for smaller farmsteads. Although they can be used for milk and meat, they are most often bred as pets and for show purposes.
