Our rare breed goats are Pygmys, a sub-Saharan African breed. Although they are not a rare or endangered breed, we have Nubians for milk and cheese production due to their high quality product. Gilmerton Farm supports education related to small farms and heritage breed, offering programs for homeschoolers, Girl and Boy Scouts, and other youth groups.

If you'd like a tour of our farm in all seasons, watch our slideshow here.
